Jenny Weston, PhD

Jenny Weston is the founder and director of Redpoint Research. She has a professional background in research, analysis, writing, and teaching. She earned a PhD in History from Leiden University (Netherlands) and has served as an Adjunct Professor of writing at Rutgers University (New Jersey).

Since 2016, Jenny has worked in close partnership as a research associate with Tracy Byrne from InsideOut Policy Research (Victoria, BC). Together they have completed multiple contracts for clients from the BC Government and various non-profit organizations across Canada.

Jenny has also published articles and book chapters on a wide array of topics, including the history of reading, book culture, and education. She maintains a strong interest in the fields of social policy, advocacy, healthcare, and education in both Canadian and international contexts.
